The hardest part of releasing a new book is waiting for reviews. Even though this is my third book, the nervousness about reviews hasn’t gotten any easier! With traditional publishing, there are advanced reader copies that your publisher sends out. I never knew who was getting an ARC or when reviews would start popping up, so it was a game of just waiting.
Self-publishing an ebook also involves waiting, but this time I know exactly who got a review copy. When they’ll get a chance to read the book and post the reviews is still a mystery, so it’s fun to see when the reviews start coming out.
