Anyone else watch Greatest American Dog last night? We had to watch it because we knew our dog Chloe would love it. Every time the commercial came on, she went crazy trying to lick the dogs on TV. She knows a dog on TV when she sees it. Once I was watching Air Bud and never said anything to her about a dog being on TV, but she saw him anyway and spent the whole time trying to give him kisses.
So we watched it and Chloe LOVED it. Daisy doesn’t seem to care for TV, so she was sleeping in the kitchen the entire time. The dogs were so cute! But I knew I was going to hate the elimination part of the show. I mean, I know it’s a contest and everyone except one dog is going to lose and be eliminated, but I still felt so bad for the person and dog that got sent home last night. I try to tell myself that the dogs don’t even know or care that they lost, but I still feel bad for them. Maybe I should just watch the show up until the elimination part and then turn it to something else.
Speaking of animals, while I was at ALA Laura Numeroff (author of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and many other picture books) and I talked about our pets and shared pictures. She said I have to put up pictures of my pets on my website, so I finally got a chance to do that yesterday. There’s a new photo page on my website with pictures of my pets and some of me. More pictures of the pets will come soon. I know it’s an old picture, but I had to include Chloe’s cutest puppy picture. It makes me go “OMGSHEISSOCUTEIWANTTOSQUEEZEHER!!!!!” every time I look at it. Also, you can see me dressed as Harry Potter.

r u going 2 be writing a sequel to “something to blog about?” i want to hear more about the angel vs. libby war and if there’s gonna be an angel libby and seth love triangle. it would be awesome if you would turn the book into a series! the book was really unique and you sort of left readers w/a little cliffhanger concerning roger &libby!

Hi! Thanks for the comment! 🙂 Right now, there are no plans for a sequel, but maybe one day there will be! My next book comes out Fall 2009 and it’s about a girl named Cassie and the problems she gets into when she falls in love with her best friend Greg and becomes friends with the new popular girl at school.
