Today I’m excited to reveal the cover and title for my next ebook release!
Submerging is the second book in the Swans Landing series, which started with Surfacing released last year. Here is the summary of the book:
Sixteen years ago, Sailor Mooring’s mother dove into the Atlantic Ocean and was never seen again. Now, Sailor is following her mother’s long swim to find answers to the questions that have haunted her life: Why did her mother leave? And what really happened the night Sailor’s father died?
Callum Murchadh has spent the last five years banished from his home and his people. At nineteen, he now lives a human life in the northern islands of Scotland, where maintaining a quiet existence is crucial to keeping his secrets hidden.
But having a finfolk girl step off the ferry and into his life was the last thing he expected.
Sailor finds herself both drawn to Callum and frightened by his warnings. He may hold the clues she needs to reach the ancestral home of her people, but knowing whether to trust him isn’t easy.
Surfacing was narrated by Mara, but this one is told from Sailor’s point of view. If you’ve read Surfacing, then you understand why Submerging is narrated by Sailor. 🙂 I do recommend reading Surfacing before reading this one, because the first chapter of Submerging spoils one of the secrets revealed at the end of Surfacing. There’s still time to read Surfacing if you haven’t already! 😀
As I mentioned on Friday, I have moved the release date up to October 15. So over the next few weeks, I’ll post chapter excerpts for Submerging here on my site, so be on the lookout for those!
The Swans Landing series will continue in 2013 with a novella release early in the year and then the final book’s release in the second half of 2013. The About the Author section at the back of Submerging reveals the novella’s title, and I’ll be sharing official details on that here on my site soon.
