1. Teen Witch was on ABC Family this weekend. I hadn’t seen that movie since I was a kid, so I sat down and watched it. Why did I never realize before how hilarious the “Top That” rap scene is?

2. I fell in love last week. With a pair of boots. I saw this picture of Michelle Williams and it suddenly hit me that those are the boots I’ve been looking for. I’ve wanted some brown boots for a while, but couldn’t decide on what style. But that’s it. A lighter brown and flat, knee high. So since I’m thrifty (The Husband says “cheap”) I had to do a lot of research to find the best deal. Finally found a similar pair I liked on ebay and now in 10-20 days when they arrive from the other side of the world, I’ll hug them and squeeze them and bounce around my house giggling. Because boots make me happy. Boots are the only reason I can deal with cold weather and keep my sanity intact.
3. I still haven’t decided what to be for Halloween!! At this point, I don’t even know if I will dress up for my work’s costume contest.
4. Okay, Teen Witch is 80s cheese now, with all the big hair and funny clothes, but I have to admit that I still love Louise’s dress in this scene:
(Also, I blame this movie for making me believe at nine years old that that was what all high school dances were really like–everyone dancing in sync and the cutest guy in school suddenly realizing he’s in love with you and dumping the popular girl to make out with you on the dance floor. MOVIES LIE SO MUCH!)
Shana, I felt the EXACT same way when I saw the photo of Michelle Williams. I need those boots. They are so $$$$. It’s so hard to find a perfect pair of boots though, isn’t it? What’s the brand of the pair you got?

I’m just hoping the calves aren’t too wide for my legs. Maybe not since I usually have a problem with zip up boots being pretty tight on me, so if these pull on boots are a little looser it’ll allow room to wear them over jeans.
I did find out through research that Michelle’s boots are Lanvins and are WAY out of my price range. But they are gorgeous!
