Hor d’oeuvres for breakfast

I’m eating peanuts, vegetables and dip, mini sandwiches, cheese cubes, and cream puffs for breakfast. I didn’t have time to eat before I left the house this morning because I was running late (what else is new? I’m always running late!) so I was just going to grab something out of the snack machine when I got to the office. But they’ve set out the leftovers from our Christmas party yesterday and so I’m eating a plateful of hor d’oeuvres for breakfast.

I really love cream puffs. Maybe I’ll start eating them for breakfast every day.

Okay, maybe not. But they are REALLY good.

I also have some exciting news to announce and since I got some more info yesterday afternoon and it seems like it really is happening and so I won’t jinx anything by telling, here it is: Something to Blog About is going to be translated to Italian! My first foreign rights sale! I’m not sure yet when they plan to release the Italian version, but I can’t wait to see it–even though I won’t be able to read it at all!

P.S. — Happy birthday to my brother M and my grandma and my coworker AM and crissachappell! December 19th is apparently a good day to have a birthday.
