I woke up this morning and found a surprise sitting on my nightstand:
Oh, yeah! Just what I wanted! It’s an anniversary present from The Husband, although our anniversary isn’t until June 17th. But he always likes to give presents early because he’s so excited about it that he can’t wait.
So I got everything set up and began day 1 of the 30 day challenge this afternoon. I set it on the intermediate level because I figured with the regular exercise I do I should be above beginner, but probably not ready for expert yet.
OH MY GOD MY THIGHS ARE SCREAMING. It’s been an hour and a half since I finished and my thighs still burn. This thing definitely gives you a workout. It comes with a leg strap that you put the nunchuk control into for some of the exercises and it also has a resistance band so you can do arm exercises. I love that it uses the Wii balance board on some of the exercises also and it mixes things up for you so that you get a full body workout. I got a good workout and was sweaty and in desperate need of water at the end, but ow, ow, ow. My thighs hate me right now. I had to eat strawberry shortcake to make them happy. Which probably added back the calories I burned, but shh, don’t tell my thighs that!
