Teen Read Week

It’s Teen Read Week! Celebrate by stopping by your local library and picking up some great reads! I’m always reading several books at the same time. Right now, I’m reading Haunted by Meg Cabot (which is my treadmill reading), Rainbow Valley by L.M. Montgomery (my lunch reading), and Kristy Thomas, Dog Trainer by Ann M. Martin (at home lounging reading and yes, it’s a Baby-Sitters Club book! I’ve almost completed my BSC collection, just six more books to hunt down). And I have a huge stack of books to be read on my bookshelves.

A reminder if you’re in eastern North Carolina: I’ll be at the Pender County Public Library on October 16–that’s this Thursday!–talking about blogging and reading a bit from Something to Blog About. I’ll be at the Hampstead branch at 3:30pm and then at the Burgaw branch at 6:30pm. Assuming I don’t get lost on the way there. Hopefully not, but you never know. I once drove past my favorite Mexican restaurant that I’ve been to a million times and The Husband has never let me live it down. And when we tried to go to Ragazzi’s in Garner for my birthday, we did end up past Garner and in Cary instead. Every time we get in the car it’s a big mystery as to whether we’ll actually end up where we intended to go.
