Countdown to Halloween

I was wondering why I was suddenly getting several referrals from LibraryThing showing up in my website logs, so I wandered over there to find that I’m one of the featured LibraryThing authors today. So hi, fellow LibraryThing members! 🙂

Have I mentioned here before now that my second is pregnant with her second child? I don’t think so, but anyway, she’s due in February. Just found out the other day that it’s another girl! So soon I’ll have two nephews (from The Husband’s sister) and two nieces. And today is also my sister’s birthday. 22 today!

I was rocking out to “Thriller” by Michael Jackson on my iPod a few minutes ago when I realized that it was October now, so that song will definitely be played a lot on my iPod between now and Halloween. I always have to dance a bit in my seat whenever I listen to it. Being that it’s October, I also have to decide what my Halloween costume will be. I won second place in the costume contest at work last year with my Wednesday Addams costume, but I have no idea what to be this year. I’ve already been Harry Potter, which my coworkers still talk about. (Whenever a new person is hired and I’m introduced to them, someone always says, “Shana is also known as the office Harry Potter.”) So I need something good this year and I prefer costumes that I can put together myself instead of buying a pre-made costume. Anyone out there got any ideas? 🙂
