Back from the high country

I have been completely cut off from the internet since Saturday morning. We took a short vacation and I decided to leave my laptop behind even though the hotel had free wireless internet because I knew I’d be checking my email every chance I could if I took it with me.

So we had four relaxing days with scenery like this:

You can tell that The Husband and I are from the flat, low land. Our ears started popping as soon as we got into the hilly piedmont region of North Carolina, hours before we made it to the mountains.
