I have to say that the best birthday cake is a cheesecake. I’ve never been much of a fan of actual cake-cake, so for the last few years I’ve gotten a cheesecake on my birthday instead. Yummy.

The Husband took me shopping last night and bought me clothes, and then came home today with a stuff pack for my Sims 2. And a friend sent me another stuff pack that arrived the other day. And we had our favorite Mexican food and I got phone calls and emails and I feel loved. It’s been a pretty good birthday.

And happy anniversary to my parents! (I was born exactly one year after they got married.)

      I got H&M Fashion Stuff from my friend and Celebration Stuff from The Husband. I can’t wait for the Bon Voyage expansion pack to come out in a few weeks!

        Do you have all of the other EPS? I just have Pets. But since I had such a hangup with getting a bad disc twice, they sent me a code for 15.00 off an EA game and I’m wondering which Sims pack to get next. What would you recommend?

        Bon Voyage looks fun!

          Yep, I have all of the full expansion packs (University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, and Seasons) and half of the stuff packs (Family Fun, H&M Fashion, and Celebrations). I really love Seasons. I love the weather interactions and the fact that my Sims can grow their own food in a garden. And each season has a special affect on the Sims, such as fall helps them learn skills faster and spring helps them fall in love faster.

          But then I also love Nightlife because it allows your Sims to drive their own cars and the downtown area is kind of cool. I love the bowling alleys.

          I wasn’t too thrilled about Open For Business at first, but now I’m using it more. I have a neighborhood where all of my families run their own businesses to earn their living so I’m actually really enjoying Open For Business’s features.

          My least favorite expansion pack is University. I like the items that come with it, but it just takes too long to get your sims through college and gets boring very quickly. I downloaded a hack that lets me speed up the college time so I can get my sims through faster. It’s the only way I can send them to college and not go crazy. 😉

          lol, sorry for the long winded response but I hope it’s been helpful. I would recommend Seasons or Nightlife, I enjoy their features most out of all of the packs.

            I appreciate it, Shana! I was leaning between Seasons and Nightlife anyhow, so you made it easy. I think Seasons maybe is the one I’ll go with. I’m not really into University. I like the cowplant thing, but that’s about it.

      Thanks! lol, my husband gets to eat his entire birthday cake by himself each year since I don’t want any of it and he loves cake. I’m much happier with cheesecake! 😀

    (I definitely prefer cheesecake to regular cake too. Why have I never thought of having a birthday cheesecake?! *slaps forehead*)

    Happy, happy birthday (and only one day late)…wow, you’re the same age as the two girls who were my first graduates (from my own school)…*blinks in shock*…maybe I’m getting old 🙂
