Chloe actually did not destroy anything during her time out of the crate yesterday. She’s out again today because it still smells like cleaner, so we’ll see if she still behaves herself.
The Husband and I are going to the beach for three days in just over a week. We always like to go to the beach in February and March, when no one else is there. We’re not the kind of people who lay on the sand and increase our skin cancer risk, so we go to the beach when it isn’t actually beach weather. It’s so nice and quiet, there aren’t any long lines at the attractions or restaurants, and no traffic jams on the one road through the islands. Plus we can stay at the nicest hotel on the beach for a lot less than it would cost us in July.
I made the reservations yesterday online and then read over my confirmation email. It said all the usual stuff: “Traditional non-smoking, partial ocean view, private balcony, 2 line phones, pay movies, safe, coffee maker, Nintendo…” Wait. What? Nintendo? Nowhere on the hotel’s website did they say anything about a Nintendo, yet there it was in the email, listed as one of the features of our room.
The Husband and I are now trying to guess what kind of Nintendo it might be. We could just call the hotel and ask, but that would ruin the fun. (Although I really doubt that it’s going to be a Wii. I’m guessing one of the older systems.)

Warning: if it’s a Wii, you’ll spend the whole time in the room playing. Wii Sports is addictive, esp. bowling …after a 5 hous marathon tournament discovered there are bowling muscles and I haven’t used them in a loooong time 🙂
LOL. The Husband said if it’s a Wii he’s not leaving the hotel during our three days! 😉
Nintendo? Wow. That’s crazy.
I’d never seen a hotel feature Nintendos in their rooms before now. Maybe that’s why it’s the nicest hotel on that beach. 😉
