My soundtrack

I’ve seen this on a couple of people’s blogs and it looked like fun. Put your iTunes on shuffle and the songs it plays are the answers to the categories below, in the order they play. It’s the soundtrack to your life.

5. Breaking Up: “Not Myself” by John Mayer
6. Prom: “Over My Head (Cable Car)” by The Fray
7. Life’s OK: “The Difference” by The Wallflowers
8. Driving: “Foolish Games” by Jewel
9. Flashback: “Life is Short” by Butterfly Boucher
10. Getting Back Together: “Building a Mystery” by Sarah McLachlan
11. Wedding Scene: “Malibu” by Hole
12. Final Battle: “Local God” by Everclear
13. Death Scene: “Lose Your Way” by Sophie B. Hawkins
14. Funeral Song: “Life’s a Bitch” by Shooter
15. End Credits: “The Way I Feel” by 12 Stones

Some are oddly appropriate, such as the one for Funeral Song. The chorus of “Life’s a Bitch” says “Shoulda been born on the Milky Way/Don’t wanna belong to the world today/Oh, life’s a bitch and then you die.” Nice funeral song, huh? But it’s really fun and catchy, I always have to sing along with it. I like “Motion Picture Scene” as my opening credits song and “Life is Short” as my flashback song.
