I’ve got a plate full of fudgy brownies and a gift for the person I drew in our office Secret Santa exchange. I was worried that I might not have enough brownies because last year I made some and they disappeared fast. But on my way out of the building yesterday afternoon one of the other ladies told me she didn’t realize I was making them too and had already bought all the supplies for brownies, so I told her that was good because I was worried about not making enough. So whatever else happens at the office Christmas party today, there should be plenty of brownies to go around!
You know what my favorite part of Christmas is? Wrapping the gifts. I absolutely love wrapping presents. When I lived with my grandparents for a few years, I would wrap all of their presents for them every Christmas. I have it down to an art and everything has to be taped and folded just so. I told the husband the other night while I was wrapping the gifts we had that I should tell everyone in the family to bring all their presents over to our house and let me wrap them.
I am the worst present wrapper! I grew up in a house where Santa used paper grocery bags and newspaper (the comic strips!)
Oh, good. I’ll just send anything that needs wrapping over to you. 😉
