That new idea for EMMA is starting out so well! I’m changing a major plot point, as well as the relationships between some characters, so I’m basically having to rewrite the book. I sat down to write during lunch, creating all new stuff without looking at the old first chapter, and wrote 2153 words. Which I think is a record for me for an hour’s work! The most I ever remember doing in an hour before this was about 1800 words.
I’m hoping this motivation can last long enough to get me through at least half of the book, hopefully more!
