This is one of those days when I’m having a hard time getting myself going. I want to go back to bed and sleep for a couple more hours.
I pushed myself this weekend to get ahead in my NaNoWriMo book in case I go to Florida this month to visit my family after my niece is born. Right now I’m at just under 23,000 words. I still have a lot of outline left, so I’m not worried so far about coming up short on the word count.
Other than that, I watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire again this weekend. It’s my favorite of the Harry Potter movies. I love the Yule Ball scene and, of course, the movie’s ending always makes me cry, no matter how many times I see it or read the book. Goblet of Fire and Prisoner of Azkaban are tied for my favorites of the books, but GOF is definitely my favorite of the movies.
So that’s really all I did this weekend, besides grocery shopping. I don’t know why I’m so tired today but sleep would be so nice.
Oh, and I got an early Christmas gift Saturday from my in-laws:

My mother-in-law found this table in bad condition and was told it’s from the 1920s. She had it refinished and couldn’t wait until Christmas to give it to me so they brought it by this weekend. I actually didn’t have anything in this corner of the living room before now, so it’s really nice having something to put there. We’ve been living in this same house for four years, but we’ve still never gotten around to buying all the extra pieces of furniture needed to fill the holes in rooms.
Ooh…how nice and elegant that table is.
