The final book in A Series of Unfortunate Events is out today! I love those books. The Husband, who rarely reads anything, loves them too. We have in-depth discussions about all of the mysteries and secrets in the books and our own theories. The only other series we get to talk about like that is Harry Potter.
Also, the computer I crashed last weekend is fixed and I get to pick it up this afternoon. It’s better than ever with a hard drive twice the size of what it used to have and double the amount of RAM.
Friday the 13th doesn’t seem too unlucky so far. Not that I’m superstitious, especially since I live with a black cat and he crosses my path every day. Thursday the 12th wasn’t too lucky, however, with my dermatologist saying that the red spot that’s been on my cheek for a few months could possibly be an early squamous cell carcinoma and he wants to do a biopsy to be sure since I have a family history of skin cancer. I go back on October 25 so he can take a sample for biopsy.
