We took the super cool looking Ultra Thin Keyboard back to Radio Shack last night and got our money back. Research online led me to LOTS of other people having a problem with the keys on that keyboard quitting on them.
So now I have just the not so super cool looking Palm Portable Keyboard, which still DOESN’T WORK.
So I don’t get to write during lunch unless I handwrite. Which doesn’t cut it. I can’t write as fast as I can type and so my handwriting gets harder to read as I get more involved in the scene. And it makes my hand hurt. </end whine>
I’m faced with three options:
- Hunt down a new keyboard from an online store that still has one in stock, even though they’re no longer being made and I’ll probably have the same problems again
- Buy an entirely new PDA and keyboard in an updated model since mine is obselete
- Just break down and buy a laptop and forget the whole PDA business
What to do? My bank account likes option 1 best since it’s the cheapest. My geeky side likes option 3 best.
